Before Takeoff

  • Check Passenger’s: COVID test, Mask

    Face coverings: It’s recommended that you should wear a mask throughout the flight.

    Passengers need to make a health declaration with the Chinese Customs before taking the flight.
    Specific nucleic acid / antigen test requirements for flights to China are subject to the specific route.

  • Check-in

    Check in equipment will be regularly disinfected.

    Advocate contactless services such as self-check in services.

  • VIP Lounge

    VIP lounge is cleaned and disinfected regularly.

In the Cabin

  • In-flight Health and Safety Guidelines

    During the flight, please only sit in your assigned seat, and wear a mask without exhaust valve at all times, and do not remove the mask when it is not necessary;

    In case of an emergency and the use of an oxygen mask is required, please first remove your medical mask before placing the oxygen mask over your mouth and nose. Used masks, disposable gloves and other epidemic prevention articles should be sealed in a clean bag and handed over to the flight attendant for disposal.

    Please reduce unnecessary walking around during the flight. Please cover the toilet with the lid before flushing the toilet. If you have symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, diminished sense of smell and taste, diarrhea, please contact the flight attendant immediately for assistance.

    Wash and disinfect your hands before meals, after using the toilet or after touching arm rests, the bathroom doors and other objects. If your hands are not sterilized, please avoid touching your mouth, nose and eyes.

  • In flight cleaning

    In order to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we will clean and disinfect the cabin environment and facilities and equipment on the flight.

    For in-flight equipment: The flight attendant will use the on-board disinfectant to disinfect in-flight wheelchairs or bassinet each time before and after use to ensure that the passengers safety.

    For in-flight toilet sanitation: The attendant will use the cabin disinfectant to regularly clean and disinfect the toilet on the flight. The frequency of cleaning and disinfection is based on the risk level of the flight, and cleaning and disinfection is carried out once every 10 people or every 2 hours.

  • Emergency Measures

    Passengers with suspected symptoms: flight attendants provide necessary protective equipment for passengers with suspected symptoms to reduce unnecessary personnel contact.

After Arrival

    Passengers need to complete the online customs declaration, get the QR code and go through customs inspection according to the customs requirements of the destination airport.

Personal Protection Standards for Employees

  • 1Employees in direct contact with passengers

    For check-in, security check, cleaning and other posts that frequently have directly contact passengers, employees should wear N95/KN95 masks in a standardized manner.

  • 2Employees in other positions

    Employees should wear disposable masks of medical surgery quality and above.

  • 3Cleaning Staff

    Cleaning Staff must wear disposable medical masks and disposable medical rubber gloves. Cleaning Staff on board should wear N95/KN95 masks and disposable medical rubber gloves or nitrile gloves, and wear disposable isolation clothing when handling bodily fluids and other wastes.
