- How do I make a reservation?
To make a reservation on Hainan Airlines, you can either visit the Hainan Airlines global web site and book online, call a reservations number, visit a Hainan Airlines ticketing office, or contact your travel agent. Once you have made a reservation, you will need to purchase your ticket by the deadline determined by the ticket rules. If you fail to purchase your ticket by the deadline, your reservations are subject to cancellation.
- How do I make changes to a ticket?
If you would like to change the flight itinerary, date, or cabin class, please contact Hainan Airlines as soon as possible. Changes will be granted according to fare rules and seat availability. You may change an electronic ticket by contacting us or by visiting the local Hainan Airlines ticketing office. Depending on the fare rules, you may be required to pay an additional fee for changes
- How do I get a ticket refund?
If you would like to request a refund, your refund request will be handled according to the type of ticket that was purchased and by any corresponding fare rules. Refunds can only be processed within the validity period of the ticket and at the original place of purchase. To refund tickets that were booked on Hainan Airlines global website (www.hainanairlines.com), please fill out a refund application here.

- How long is a ticket valid?
Please note the validity period for promotional fares differs according to fare condition.
Domestic China Tickets:
Domestic China full fare tickets, including one-way, round trip and connecting flights, are valid for one year and calculated from the day the first flight is taken. Open tickets, in which a specific flight is not booked, are valid for one year and calculated upon midnight on the day following ticket issuance. Unused tickets are valid for one year and calculated upon midnight on the day following ticket issuance.International Tickets:
The validity period of international tickets varies according to a ticket's air route and class. For flights between Beijing and Brussels, Budapest and Berlin on classes C, D, Y, B, H, Q, the validity period is 1 year; for class K, the validity period is 6 months; for L class, the validity period is 3 months; for class M, the validity period is 3 months. For flights between Beijing and Seattle, classes C, D, Y, B, H, the validity period is 1 year; for class K, the validity period is 6 months; for L class, the validity period is 3 months; for class M, the validity period is 3 months.
